Cheap and it was located a mile away from my friends' wedding venue.
We requested a non-smoking room and our room smelled like someone had just put a cigarette out in there, plus I found a cigarette butt under the bed. Our toilet was completely nonfunctional and the staff insisted we just needed to flush one more time. The toilet wasn't even attempting to flush. Luckily the staff did let us switch rooms and the next room had a better smell and a functioning toilet. But our heater emitted an awful smell, so we chose not to use it and overall the hotel didn't feel very clean.
Nothing was good about this place!
I thought that people we ran the business were very rude. They said that they were going to update us and made it seem like they were doing us a huge favor but when we got to the room it was really small bed and there was nothing nice about it. I was really disappointed in the quality of the room and the facility I will never stay there again. This was not a good experience and I would never tell my friends to stay there. It was a huge waste of money!
Motel dirty noisy ill kept
Location was perfect for what I was doing
Needs more vending machines and outside steps need to be swept more often
It was convenient location, clean room. Good price for a one night stop.
Night person on duty very friendly. Requested more towels, never received, asked three times. He said he had no access to laundry. Continental breakfast was ok for the price.
Served the purpose of an affordable place to crash from the night.
Reservation was not on file when we checked in, however the clerk on duty set us up with a room quickly. Paint was pealing from the bathroom ceiling. Both ice machines were in operative.
It was only a short stay, parking lot was a little scary at night
The stairs were hard to walk with my cane
I was visiting a relative at the Allen Correctional Prison. Since I have never been to Lima before I wanted to stay close. The area looked run down but its just looks. I felt very safe there. The room was clean. I had no problems getting extra towels. The televison being older model offered great screening. The wake up call was on time. The breakfast was decent. After staying for a day I actually went some where else andpaid their rate and was very unhappy with the service. I check back into the Days Inn. Its an older place its doesnt have the updated features but its very nice for the price and I will be back
It could get a litlle more updated, the cement features needs to be repaired, and could have a snack vendor machine
.There were no bedbugs.
I couldn't find anything good to say about the Lima Inn. I booked there because of Days Inn's past reputation but was sorely disappointed. It was in a very bad area, the rooms were terribly small, it was in bad need of renovation, the facilities didn't work half the time, the door to the hallway didn't lock until it was fixed, and it wasn't all that clean. Needless to say we were very disappointed. We will never stay in a Days Inn again.
It is a very plain hotel but room was clean and comfortable. Nothing fancy but for the price it was fine.
rooms very cold, cigarette burns on plastic toilet seats, lots of air coming in around room door to the outside.
Not much. Its sole redeeming factor was it was close to our destination in Lima.
The facility is run down, needing significant repairs and maintenance. The Stairs we used were broken, the Ice Machine on the 2nd floor was broken. In general the place was a dump and we will not stay there again. Additionally we asked for a non-smoking, handicapped room on the ground floor. The only request we got was non-smoking. Were were on the 2nd floor and not in a handicap accessible room.
What did we like about Days Inn Lima -- the young check-in girl was very pleasant!
Old - old - old with no upgrades -- not clean - carpet was a pure yuck! Tub/shower had rust around the drain - another yuck! No knob on the microwave! Dirt on the air/heat unit! Will never stay at another Days Inn.
Price, continental breakfast okay.
Rooms very tired. Sheets stained but clean. Tub rusty, painted and tub non-slip bottom dirty. Found someones dirty hair roller stuck to the bedspread. Yuck.
